6th Degree Taekwondo Master Black Belts

We are incredibly proud to congratulate the founders of Reveal Martial Arts, Adam and Lucie Spicar, on successfully passing their Taekwondo Master testing, and achieving the rank of 6th Degree Master Black Belt.
Their testing took place at the 2021 Taekwondo United Spring National Tournament in DFW Airport’s Hyatt Regency hotel on Friday, March 12. The whole tournament was a huge success for Reveal Martial Arts students from Southlake, Keller and Alliance/Heritage studios. Check out our tournament article and more pictures from the event here.
“After almost 20 years of actively practicing and teaching martial arts, we did it!” says Mr. Spicar with a big grin.
“It was hard but very rewarding. Me and my wife spent the last six month preparing and training on daily basis. Most weeks we would train up to 6-7 times a week. Check out our daily workouts screenshots from our Apple Watch tracking below. Looking back at these floods me with memories of many of our personal and business accomplishments.”
“As immigrants who came here with almost nothing two decades ago, our self-control, discipline and thirst to succeed was the only thing we clung to during hard times. This resolve and grit has been even more enhanced by training in martial arts. It’s helping us daily to overcome obstacles in running our growing company, and also in personal and business relationships. “
