Make Right Choices.
In the world of teenagers, where their size, vocabulary, and tech-savvy nature often mask the internal struggles of self-motivation, anxieties, and peer pressure, Reveal Martial Arts aims to bridge the gap between academic brilliance and emotional resilience.
.
Our teens easily recall Pi to 20 decimal places, yet managing time, self-motivation, and internal anxieties amid peer pressure is challenging. Our mission empowers teens to make sound choices, tapping into core instincts. We prioritize honesty – with others and, crucially, with themselves – beyond academic achievements.

Set And Achieve Goals.
As parents ourselves we want our teens to be happy and successful. We must provide them with tools to help them develop skills in setting and achieving goals.
.
It is not easy to have a teen that is driven to work hard, and stay motivated when it doesn’t involve TIKTOK, INSTAGRAM, YOUTUBE and video games. When teenagers practice and study martial arts they are ultimately drawn to achieving higher ranks. Each new belt presents challenges, higher levels of responsibility and accountability.
.
This teaches teens to set goals and overcome obstacles through practical experience as well as studying. Our martial arts teenagers learn valuable lessons they will use not only on the mats, but throughout their entire lives.

SOCIAL SKILLS 🧠
Taekwondo for Teens in Southlake, Grapevine, Alliance, Heritage Trace, Fort Worth, Haslet, Avondale, TX.
Being Around The Successful Crowd.
Teens begin to spend more time with their friends than their families. It is within friendship groups that teens can develop and practice social skills.
.
Teens are quick to point out to each other which behaviors are acceptable and which are not. Your teenager will usually make social choices based on what their friends like or dislike. They might also change their mind frequently.
.
We know that teens are trying to gain a sense of achievement - a sense of being uniquely good at something. Our program allows them to do just that. We will also help them learn to see the bigger picture of things so they can make smart decisions.

Great Addition To Your College Application.
As a martial arts instructor, I’ve heard many students say they hope having a black belt will look good on their college applications. The UC Berkeley and many college and university admissions offices view the martial arts as an excellent extracurricular activity.
Black Belt students from our studios got accepted to these and many other universities and colleges.

No! Your teen will not be fighting. They will be learning self-defense in a practical and safe way with partners of similar size, age and gender.

Generally, you will see fast progression in the first few months. Your teen might even surprise you how well they do in classes. Then, things will get more difficult, and you will see a slowdown in your child’s skills. This is normal.
Just like with any other sport, in order to be “good” in martial arts, it will take about 3-5 years of training.
We have many students who have been training with us for over a decade. You will be amazed at their skills, and how they handle themselves.
-
We recommend attendance regiment of 2x a week. Any less and your son or daughter will have a difficult time to remember the material and advance to the next rank.
It is best to set two specific days a week and stick to the routine to develop a habit. It takes about 2 months to settle into the new habit, and then things will get easier.
